Des Moines Metro

We have many opportunities for service in the Des Moines Metro area.  When we started in 1999 our first ministry was to the youth at Polk County Youth Services where we provided our institutional mentoring program and then later added our Bible discussion groups program.

We also provide community based mentoring working with children and youth who have been impacted by incarceration, substance abuse, or who are transitioning back to the community from a juvenile detention center, juvenile correctional facility or youth shelter.  If you are interested in becoming a community-based mentor please contact Sarah Moore, Karen Sieg, Juliann Scearcy, Al Perez or Shane Vander Hart.
