Staff Changes at SOY
First and foremost, THANK YOU all for your continued support for Serve Our Youth through your prayers, financial giving and service. We could not provide the hope we do without you. As you may be aware SOY has gone through some staff changes recently as part of a reorganization effort to help deal with some current cutbacks and loss of grants and other funding. However, it is our goal to continue to provide quality service to youth in need, as well as our volunteers and financial supporters. We believe in working to maintain the high level of integrity and character that SOY has become known for, despite the current changes that we are going through at this time.
In an effort to offer continued quality service we want to make you aware of the staff changes that have occurred and who to contact for specific services or questions. As of August 1, 2012 the following people will no longer be employed with SOY: Grace Butler, Chris Larson, and Shane Vander Hart. We appreciate their passion, commitment and service to SOY over the years and looking forward to maintaining connections and relationships with them in other capacities and roles.
The remaining staff will be serving the following areas:
Melanie Beath: (melanieb@serveouryouth.org) will remain as Executive Director and provide general oversight of the organization
Kathy Howey: (kathy@serveouryouth.org) will remain as Administrative Assistant and will also be overseeing match development and relationships in Marion, Jasper and Wapello County
Sarah Moore: (sarahm@serveouryouth.org) will continue to oversee match development and relationships in Polk and Dallas counties
