Prayer Points for the 500 Wing at the Polk County Juvenile Detention Center

I wanted to highlight some prayer requests shared by Donna, a Bible discussion group leader for the 500 Wing at Polk County Juvenile Detention Center in Des Moines.

• I would like to ask prayer for a girl who got a Bible the week before and she has begun reading it and praying.  She said things were going better for her.  She is interested in salvation, but not ready yet.  Pray the Lord would continue to work on her heart.
• Pray for another girl who I believe is a Christian but anger and bitterness have had a real grip on her.  She seemed to have a little renewal of her spirit this week.  Pray she may carry through with the changes she knows she needs to make.
• Pray for a young man who had so many questions….didn’t really believe in God…was fearful of the signs of the times…he did not come out for counseling.  He seemed to be a very frustrated young man…who needs the Lord. Pray the Lord would continue to deal in their lives.

• Do good when they get out
• Well-being
• Get out of here:)
• Dad, positive choices, good court on Monday
• Family, get herself together, get out and do good whether at home or where she goes, wayward 14-year-old sister
