In case we missed sending you an invitation in the mail or you don’t know one of our table hosts we would like to invite you to attend our 6th Annual Banquet coming up on Thursday, September 30th at the Foxboro Conference Center in Johnston (6165 NW 86th St. in Johnston). The doors open at 6:00p with the program starting at 6:30p.
This year we will have Jim Hallihan, the executive director of the Iowa Sports Foundation (which runs the Iowa Games) as our speaker. Jim was formerly an assistant men’s basketball coach at Iowa State University. Our emcee will be Brooke Bouma of WHO-TV. We will be premiering our new video, and will also have one of our mentors, Al Gross, share about his experience. We’ll also give you an update regarding our past year and our future direction in the year ahead. It will be an inspirational and informative program, you don’t want to miss it!
The dinner will be catered by Mojos which did a fabulous job for us last year!
This will also be the second year that we have done our silent auction in conjunction with our banquet. Guests will have the opportunity to bid on some great items like Disney World passes, a Farrell’s Extreme Body Shaping package, and a one-year membership to SnapFitness in Pleasant Hill. You can see the entire list of items here.
This banquet is free to attend as we have different sponsors helping to underwrite it. At the end you will be given the opportunity to partner with us in our mission of “extending God’s hope and healing to Iowa’s high-risk youth” as you feel led.
