I wanted to share with you something that one of our mentors in Pella recently said about his mentee:
He’s a teenager so every meeting is full of the ups and downs of high school life… glad he is in sports, has a passion for that, so hopefully between that and working it will keep him out of some other issues… still a long road ahead and each decision builds on the others… we’ve had that conversation more than once…. I know God is in control of the situation and I am being used in some capacity that I may never understand this side of heaven, but that’s okay for me… just lovin’ him where he’s at and weaving in some semi-parental comments here and there…
