Family Separation

Youth who are in placement face separation from families, and that can cause a lot of anxiety, like one young man at Woodward Academy whose mother is experiencing health issues.  His mother is in a lot of pain, and he asked for prayer for God to bring healing so that she wouldn’t need surgery.

We’ve encountered youth who have grandparents and parents who have been hospitalized and due to their placement they’ve been unable to visit.  Also we’ve encountered youth under strain because of financial hardship their family is facing and there is nothing that they can do about it.

When you think of the youth we serve who have been ordered to placement remember to pray for their families, their relationship with their families (sometimes that has been strained), and for God to protect and provide for their families.
