From one of our mentors in Winterset, IA:
After mentoring a young girl for about 3 months, so far mentoring has been playing games together, coloring, watching TV together, eating together, shooting hoops, working on a school project, making jewelry, going to a movie, exchanging Christmas presents… but most important just listening and hanging out together. With that said… how could I not like mentoring! It has been a joy for me so far and hopefully our relationship can continue to grow and continue for many years.
